Terms of Reference – Consultancy for adjusting the financial systems and reviewing the administration and financial procedures for Economic Policy Research Network (EPRN Rwanda)
1.1 Background summary
The Economic Policy Research Network (EPRN Rwanda) is a membership-based research institution with the mission to strengthen national capacities for evidence based economic policy development through research, training and provision of networking opportunities for interested professionals and institutions.
EPRN Rwanda needs to hire consultancy services to provide support to adjust the current financial systems and reviewing its administrative and financial procedures manual.
The objective is as follow :
• Resettlement of the account systems and reporting to adjust to the new financial year (January 1st to December 31st) from the one running from July 1st to June 30th (as per Board’s decision).
• Review and improve the administrative and financial procedures manual in place to reflect the current EPRN organizational status.
2. Scope of assignment
1. Provide support to the adjustment of the current financial systems
2. Reviewing of the current administration and procedures manual
a) Adjusted accounting systems to meeting the new financial year requirements
b) Reviewed and revised Administration and financial procedures manual to reflect the current situation of the organization
The work is expected to commence on June, 16th 2020. The consultant/ consultancy firm is expected to submit first draft of report by June, 26th 2020 and the final report not later than July, 3rd 2020.
